Just stuffed this random thing I found in a junk pile into my car. It’s an FM transmitter with bluetooth, so you can connect your phone with bluetooth and it will beam it to your radio. It also plays MP3s off of SD cards or flash drives, and you can direct-wire it through an aux jack instead of the FM transmitter, as I have done. It’s amazing.
Sit in car, turn on car. Radio turns on, this thing turns on, 5 seconds later I hear ‘bluetooth connected’ and then ten seconds later it starts playing my music. Voice commands and Cortana all work through it, and I can read and respond to texts without physically touching my phone. I’m never having a phone without BT again.

My new stereo doesn’t even have a CD player. Usb and phone connectivity are so much better. I tend to use my 16gb usb stick in it instead of my phone though, because Potatorola.

I swapped a crappy old head unit for a Pioneer with bluetooth about 2 years ago, added a mic, and I’m trying to find a decent camera that will work with my setup. The BT audio is awesome! Everybody that doesn’t have it is always jealous.

I sacrificed my BT audio for a voltmeter. I can always make CDs or swap a new head unit in x)

BT Audio is good. BRT audio is better though.

Yup. It can go from bluetooth through the aux cord to my stereo, or it can go from bluetooth through FM to the radio

Sure is. Replaced a 2005 Fiat Panda diesel with it.
